Hover over My Signups and pick "Sign me up/Cancel" or click the "Signup to play/Cancel" button on the home page. Fill out the signup form and hit submit. If your name is not in the pulldown list on the signup form, email tgguthrie@yahoo.com to be added. The annual subscription for mygolfapps.com/tee-times is $5.
To see who else is signed up, hover your mouse over My Signups and pick "Who's in (by date)". When you get to the Who's In page, you can click the Check Availability button to see if there is a slot for you to sign up. Once the slots are filled, you will go on a waiting list. After you sign up, you can go back to the "Who's in" page to see if you are on the waiting list. We all tend to show up even if there is a waiting list but you should be aware that sometimes we have to do a little jockeying to get everyone in. The best rule is "Sign up early in the week to avoid the waiting list"
Currently, only the Ballbusters have their Thursday League Schedule in the app. To access it, hover your mouse over TNL and pick "Ballbusters Schedule". You can also pick "Leaderboard" to see the entire league's standings.
Several years ago, the USGA rated the Sarazen and Lopez tees for men. After collecting scorecards for rounds played from those tees, a new "order of handicap strokes" was established from those tees. It is different than the order of handicap strokes on the Woodmont Scorecard provided by the proshop, the marshalls and on the golf carts. When you are in a situation where you are "giving strokes" to a man playing from the Sarzazen or Lopez tees, use the order of handicap strokes for those tees (at the bottom of the card) on the scorecard in the app. DO NOT USE THE ORDER OF HANDICAP STROKES FOR THE MEDAL, JONES OR MATCH TEES.
If you are playing from the Medal, Jones or Match tees, your order of handicap strokes is in the middle of the scorecard.
A blog is a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.
The Weekend Tee Time group has lots of conversations about rules and other golf situations that are worth remembering. Sometimes things happen on the golf course that not everyone saw or heard about and unlike Vegas, what happens in the Tee Time Group.......... (you know the rest).
Anyway, you can access the Blog to read about situations that have been observed in our group or that seemed of interest to highlight.
If you have Blog topics, email tgguthrie@yahoo.com with your ideas.
I'm always looking for new ideas. The Weekend Tee Time app has given me a nice test bed/sandbox to try new ideas.
If you have an idea for something new or a suggestion for improvement of a current feature, email tgguthrie@yahoo.com to let me know.
Thanks
